5. The Pym Particles

The Question

Given that the Avengers have to pull off a time heist to go and retrieve Pym Particles for the past because of a lack of a sufficient supply to carry out their missions, the fact that Thanos can somehow use just one vial of particles to transport his entire army and fleet of ships to the future makes no sense. How did he manage it?

The Answer

Magic of course. Despite the fact that we don't see him do any sort of advanced science other than picking apart Nebula's brain, it turns out that Ebony Maw's magical powers are enough to give him amazing scientific skills too:

There is a guy called Maw in his army, he was a great wizard. Thanos himself was a brilliant genius as well. Those two easily reverse engineered and mass-produced Pym Particles.

That's what they call a hand-wave. Why wasn't it just in the script?
