8. Rocket & War Machine Team-Up (To Save Tony?)

Rocket and War Machine only appear in a couple of brief moments in the trailer, but it's the fact that they're working together that really catches the attention, with Rocket on War Machine's shoulder like he used to be on Groot's.

The setting of where they are is being kept deliberately vague, telling us only that they do indeed team-up (and that should be a fascinating pairing to watch). However, it does also fit with the theory that Rocket will be the one who goes into space and rescues Tony Stark and Nebula.

Of all the heroes left on Earth at the end of Infinity War, he's the most experienced in actually going into space, and most of the people still missing are his friends, so it's logical that he'd want to track them down. With Tony MIA too, it fits that War Machine would go with him, and he has a suit that could potentially withstand space travel, and just so happens to be a pilot too, so is the perfect fit to fly with Rocket.

Conversely, this background could also be the same location as the battle scene we see Captain America and Nebula in later on, as the lighting does look similar. Rocket - who is wearing his comics costume from the 2008 run that inspired Guardians of the Galaxy - is seemingly on a mission with Thor at another point in the movie, so maybe he doesn't have time to rescue Tony as well. If that is the case, then it puts Pepper as Rescue back in play, or again, it could be that Tony and Nebula are somehow able to save themselves.
