While 90% of those killed off or wiped out of existence in Avengers: Infinity War ultimately ended up coming back in one form or fashion for Avengers: Endgame, one character who remained deceased throughout Endgame was Vision.

According to star Paul Bettany, though, there was at one point a plan for Endgame to have a post-credits scene based around Vision and Scarlet Witch. In fact, that scene had event been shot.

Speaking to IMDb, Bettany explained:

“At one point there was going to be a tag, where she opened a sort of body bag drawer and there was the Vision. Kevin [Feige] kind of talked to me and said, ‘I’ve got to pull the shots’. And I was like, ‘Ugh!’, because I really wanted that profit participation.”

If you remember, Vision died during the closing moments of Infinity War after Thanos pulled the Mind Stone out of the android’s head.

For fans of Vision and Wanda, Marvel Studios’ WandaVision series has now finally debuted on the Disney+ streaming service – reuniting Paul Bettany and Elizabeth Olsen’s characters in a skewed, sitcom-esque world that offers something utterly unique in the two episodes of the show seen so far.
