5. Where Is Thor?

Of the main Avengers, Thor's role in the movie is the one the marketing is being the vaguest about. We've only had a couple of shots of his face, where he's been looking very mopey (understandably so), and then this, which gives little concrete information but plenty to speculate on.

One of the most prevalent theories is that Thor is paying Thanos a visit, which is possible, although it does feel slightly off. The location is similar, but not quite a perfect match, and the vantage point Thor is looking out from is definitely different. Thor would want revenge, but there's also no guarantee he'd even be able to track Thanos down, even with the help of Stormbreaker (which he still has here, meaning he can travel just about anywhere, not just on Earth). Yet it would be interesting if he found Thanos' location, but not Thanos himself. Another option thrown up is Wakanda, but again it's unlikely as there's no good reason for him to go there.

The third possibility is that Thor is looking for the missing Asgardians, including Valkyrie (who is expected to feature in this movie). To that degree, it'd be fitting if this was Norway, and that could also be where Rocket and the cabin are too (albeit in different areas), as they go searching for them. Thor obviously has connections to the country, and if that's either where the Asgardians are, or where there's a pathway to the new Asgard, then it'd make sense for him to go there. Or he could simply be going there as it's where he last saw his father, and is looking for further guidance after his failure at the end of Infinity War.
