Avengers: Endgame Trailer - Every Snap Survivor We Didn’t See (And Where They Could Be)

Last Seen: Protecting Vision from the Black Order (Avengers: Infinity War).

What's Her Role In Endgame? We're including Shuri here because actress Angela Bassett - who plays her onscreen mother, Ramonda - told Screen Rant that she survived the snap.

Yes, that hologram in the Endgame trailer indicates that she's missing, but you could say the same for Scott Lang, and he survived the snap too. The point is, the Endgame trailer is a confirmation that the Avengers don't know where she is, and nothing more.

So if she is still out there somewhere, where is she, and what is she doing? She's one of the most brilliant minds in the MCU, so she must be putting her smarts to good use. One option is that she's become leader of Wakanda after T'Challa's dusting: being his younger sister, Shuri is undoubtedly next in line for the throne, and her loyalty to her home nation will see her do everything she can to help its people in their time of need.

The Russo Brothers have also stated (via Wired) that Wakanda will be "essential" post-Infinity War, and that its technology will be "valuable in repairing the world moving forward." Since Shuri is Wakanda's primary tech genius, it makes sense that she will be heavily involved in whatever happens next.

Repairing Vision so he can come back and kick some ass, perhaps?
