Turns out Tony Stark wasn't always the only person capable of removing the gauntlet from Thanos' massive hand. An early draft of the Endgame script actually had The Mad Titan's daughter Nebula wielding it too.

In fact, it may have remained in a couple of drafts as Christopher McFeely confirmed during the watch along that it was in there 'for a while' before it was dropped because it undercut the emotional gravity of Tony wearing it.

That certainly would have been something, but it's hard to fault anyone here because Tony's use of the gauntlet was so jaw-dropping and emotional at the same time, and having someone attempting to do it do it prior to that would have undermined the moment.
