Avengers: Infinity War - 10 Interactions We Can't Wait To See

Thanos has never had a good relationship with Nebula, and after she betrayed him on her quest to murder Gamora the feelings between the two will be even worse. A meeting between these two characters in Infinity War is inevitable, particularly if the movie follows the comic arc.

In the comics, Thanos gains the power to leave his physical form and become a cosmic entity (similar to the astral plane introduced in Doctor Strange). With his consciousness away from his body, and the gauntlet on his hand, Nebula seizes the opportunity and steals the gauntlet for herself.

It is unlikely that this is exactly how the events will play out in the movie, but there will be a moment where Nebula confronts Thanos. While this may play out like the comics in that she will have a hand in defeating The Mad Titan, it is just as likely that she may meet her demise in this confrontation.

She has nothing to lose, and her only goal now is to see her father killed. This would be the perfect place for Nebula's character arc to end as there is nothing for her on the other side of this fight.
