The likelihood may be that J. K. Simmons will never be J. Jonah again, but that shouldn't stop Marvel from bringing the character into the MCU in Infinity War.

With a whole new trilogy of Spider-Man films planned, it's clear that Marvel have plenty in store for the wall-crawler, irrespective of however he'll emerge from his fight with Thanos. Easter Eggs will inevitably feature, and while they're likely to be more covert than overt, there's no denying the appeal of a J. Jonah cameo, particularly if he's ranting about Spider-Man.

The MCU has nailed pretty much everything now, but there's a big cigar-chomping hole that needs filling. Jameson, with all his bluster and anti-Spider arrogance, is the man to fill it.

Who knows, maybe we'll get a shot of him looking at Spidey swinging from New York?
