2. Destroys Half Of Earth With One Snap
SNAP, and half of planet Earth is gone.
Thanos demonstrates his ridiculous power when he wipes out half of the planet with a single snap of his fingers. Obviously, his finger’s aren’t the powerful thing here, though, it’s the Infinity Gauntlet he has on that does the damage.
And the bad news for the MCU is that there's a very good chance we will witness the same destruction in Infinity War based on when Thanos wrecked havoc with the Gauntlet on in the comics. If that’s the case, we’re in for quite the show.
In the comics, Thanos gather six soul gems in order to achieve his aim of destroying just about everyone. To prove his worth to his darling Death, the Titan snaps his fingers and wipes out half of the Earth. Billions upon billions of lives are wiped out in just a second.
But, even if that does happen in Infinity War, it does not necessarily mean people are gone. When he loses the Gauntlet, normality resumes, but not before he signals just how much power he has by killing some of the biggest names in Marvel history...
