2. Red Skull Reappears

While on the marketing trail for Kong: Skull Island, Samuel L Jackson not only confirmed that he's not in Black Panther but also seemed to hint that Red Skull could be back:

"You didn’t see me in [Captain America:] Civil War... I’m still out there trying to figure out what The Skull is going to..."

He's cut off at that stage, but it definitely sounds like he's saying the Captain America villain isn't wholly dead. And since he was "disappeared" by the Tesseract, it would make sense that his return would come at the climax of their story.

Rating: 6/10

It might be wishful thinking, but it would be brilliant to see Red Skull back. And there's precedent in the comics for the use of the Infinity Stones reversing their past actions, so there's an easy way to write him back in.

It might ultimately over-stuff things, but having him reappear right at the end to lead into Avengers 4 along with other revived villains would be an exceptional development, even if it feels slightly unlikely.
