7. The Fake Gauntlet - Thor: Ragnarok

The existence of the fake Gauntlet that first turned up in Thor (as a throwaway Easter Egg) and was subsequently confirmed as a fake in Thor: Ragnarok. must have caused Kevin Feige and the Russos some headaches. And unfortunately for them, Infinity War means their Ragnarok "solution" - as provided by Taika Waititi - didn't make any sense.

Infinity War reveals that Thanos only forced Eitri to forge the Gauntlet relatively recently. If he hadn't Heimdall or Odin would have been aware of the attack on Nidavellir given their powers and someone would have intervened. For it to make sense, it has to have come after Odin was removed and Heimdall was distracted.

With that in mind, how the hell did the fake one exist first? And how did Hela know it was a fake if there was no real one to compare it to. How would Hela even know what the Gauntlet was? And how on Earth did Thanos manage to get Eitri to make a Gauntlet that ACCIDENTALLY looked exactly the same as the fake one?!

It's enough to give you a headache.
