19. The Harry Potter Reference Points

Strangely, there are a number of direct parallels to Harry Potter movies in some of the sequences in Infinity War.

First, Vision struggling with pain when the Mind Stone "senses" something is wrong and warns him is very much like Harry's scar talking to him. Then there's the use of magic to transform perilous spells into harmless showers of butterflies in the Titan battle.

On top of that, the way the characters at the end fade out is very much like Voldemort's death and Thanos meeting the infant Gamora after he completes his mission - seemingly in the afterlife - is very much like a redo of the creepy King's Cross sequence at the end of The Deathly Hallows. There's no way that can all be accidental.
