Quite who he is playing remains to be seen, but a picture of him getting his hair coloured red seemed to set a lot of people to assume he's playing Pip the Troll, rather than other front-runners Eitri or MODOK...
Plot Predictions: It very much depends on who he is playing. Let's assume for now that the red hair "proof" is indeed evidence that he's playing Pip the Troll. That would suggest that he's probably either searching for Adam Warlock OR he has past experience with the Infinity Stones and is brought in in some "advisory" capacity.
In truth, if he's Pip, it's probably going to be both of those things.
Perhaps Warlock is trapped within the Soul Stone, which used to be in his possession? Perhaps one of Thanos' rumoured underlings turns out to be Magus (Warlock's evil counterpart who was turned evil by his use of the Stone?). It's all very intriguing, really.
