Avengers: Infinity War - Predicting All 76 Characters

10. Kraglin (Sean Gunn)

Status: Confirmed

The newest member of the Guardians crew wasn't shown in the trailer, but he has nowhere else to go without Yondu and he made for a popular new addition to the team (thanks in part to the comedy involved in him "learning" how to use the Yaka Arrow).

Sean Gunn teased his involvement a while back, but he's the on-set stand-in for Rocket Raccoon, so that might not mean Kraglin even appears, but if he doesn't fans would rightly question why he'd suddenly just left the team without explanation. They could do with the Yaka Arrow in the fight against Thanos' army too.

9. Nebula (Karen Gillan)

Status: Confirmed

When Nebula turned away from the offer to join the Guardians at the end of Guardians Of The Galaxy Vol 2 to find her father, she set in motion a journey that will culminate in her coming face-to-face with her "father" and abuser sooner rather than later. To see how they both deal with that conflict will be incredibly interesting.

Interesting too is Karen Gillan's promise that Nebula is going to team up with someone surprising for a new dynamic that she says will delight fans. The mind boggles.

8. Thanos (Josh Brolin)

Avengers Infinity War Thanos
Marvel Studios

Status: Confirmed

The biggest big bad of the MCU is on his way and he means serious business. He's intent on bringing the Infinity Stones together to amplify his powers to untold levels.

He's going to be at least partly successful - it's just a matter of how much the Avengers can limit his conquest to. But we know for certain he will get his hands on two of the Stones thanks to the trailer and there's a suggestion that he will cause a lot of pain to get them. Given that Kevin Feige and the Russos have spoken up the need to establish Thanos as a credible pay-off to his long build-up, expect him to be the most powerful, terrifying threat we've seen in the MCU to date.

And he's not coming alone...
