51. Everett Ross (Martin Freeman)

You'd like to think that Wakanda being in serious peril and being the key to the world's defence would mean that the US government's appointed herald to the country would show up at least briefly, right?

Martin Freeman's Everett Ross needs more to do and by the look of Black Panther he will be following his comic book counterpart in becoming a key ally to T'Challa. And he's probably going to need them to convince the US that he's not an enemy after harbouring war criminal Bucky Barnes.

50. Thaddeus Ross (William Hurt)

Status: Unconfirmed

Given the way Captain America: Civil War ended, there's no way the government aren't still looking for Captain America and his fellow undergroudn Avengers (otherwise they wouldn't have to be in hiding). And since that's the case, you'd think the person in charge of superhero regulation and registration would return to be the driving force behind their pursuit.

That means we should see more of William Hurt's Thaddeus Ross, who also has some unfinished business with Bruce Banner and the Hulk to deal with before he bows out. For a start, he needs to be convinced he - and all superheroes - are worth the collateral damage.

49. Sharon Carter (Emily VanCamp)

Status: Unconfirmed

She might have said publicly that she wasn't involved, but the same interview included her concession that Marvel ring up on short notice, and it would be surprising to see Maria Hill and what remains of SHIELD without her most valuable employee.

If she's not there, her absence will look odd.
