16. Thor Meets The Guardians Of The Galaxy (They Discover Xandar Is Destroyed)

Having had his Asgardian ass handed to him by Thanos on the refugee ship, Thor is left to float in space only to crash into the Milano, in which the Guardians are no doubt investigating the fallout of the destruction of Asgard or Xandar or both (they surely wouldn't miss TWO planetary destruction events?!)

He then acts as one of the Exposition Bros (Banner is the other later on), revealing to the Guardians everything that has happened and how the Avengers came to be invested in the story of the Infinity Stones, pricking Gamora's ears up in the process.

At this point, it seems likely that the Guardians will discover that Xandar has been destroyed and Thanos has the Power Stone, at which point we'll see the trigger for Thor heading off on his own mission with Rocket and Groot and the other Guardians heading off to see The Collector, whose knowledge of the Infinity Stones will prove invaluable.
