Avengers: Infinity War - Spider-Man's Iron Spider Suit Officially Revealed
Spidey's got a brand new look.
Despite the end of Spider-Man: Homecoming denying fans the chance to see Peter Parker pull on the new Iron Spider-inspired Spidey suit created by Tony Stark as an Avengers-joining present, we know the suit hasn't disappeared for good.
Thanks to the excellent triptych of posters released for Avengers: Infinity War, it's been revealed that Spidey will pull on the suit - presumably because he's called up to the Avengers when Thanos attacks Earth. So clearly it just goes into cold storage at the end of Homecoming.
Marvel have now revealed the best look at the suit yet, as Art of VFX spoke to Dominik Zimmerle of Trixter about his company’s work on Homecoming, and he spoke about the effects that went into the movie, as well as offering a high-definition reveal of the suit.
The influences from the Iron Spider are obvious, from the large spider motif on his chest to the gold trim, and while he doesn't have the iconic robotic arms from the comics, there's no saying they aren't fitted as retractable augmentations. And they would make quite an impact if they did debut in Infinity War.
