So, it looks like some of the Internet community are claiming that Spider-Man's "new" look for Avengers: Infinity War has hit the web, thanks to a post by Twitterati Superbro Movies (Parker Batkins) who amassed a substantial following and has now gone into the business of running a website himself.

He exclusively leaked the images below...

There's also a note.

Pretty major shame a media university couldn't spell Johansson correctly...

The image, purports to show a chest plate of Peter Parker's suit, which was not used in the film (possibly because the logo on it is from Marc Webb's Amazing Spider-Man movies?). And while it's somewhat inevitable that Parker will get a new suit for Infinity War, there's no way the image matches up to the set-shots we've seen of Tom Holland in costume on Spider-Man: Homecoming (even before the CGI additions to his suit).

For a start, it's clear that the costume isn't broken up the same way the Amazing Spider-Man costume was (which had different materials for the chest and flanks). Why they'd move away from this look to the older style (including the older logo) is just baffling...

More than a grain of salt needed here, but that isn't to say the costume wasn't intended to be used in test footage, or with CGI obscuring the completely wrong logo. For now, forgive the cynicism.

Some are claiming Asbury University is an unlikely place for the prop to turn up, but actually, it's not completely unlikely. As the university itself states, it's a media centre of some repute...

"Production Design students study how to design and create film and television studio sets. They also find or create props that are used in film and television productions. The Miller Communications Center is designed as a working museum, including props and set panels from over 100 films and television programs. These pieces provide real-life research by Production Design students."

It'd still be pretty odd for them to have a prop from a movie that wasn't even done filming yet. Particularly this early into production.

Parker is claiming that it's legit, still, and that he has back-up on that front, quoting a comment on ComicBookMovie's discussion thread.

Hopefully for him, that tvor03 isn't the same guy on Twitter who follows 14 people, has 3 followers and hasn't ever tweeted. It's all a bit fishy.
