We saw Peter Parker sitting on that very same school bus in the first trailer, where he looks out the window and sees the ship arriving.

It's safe to say, then, that this is what comes directly after, as Peter puts on the Spider-Man mask and swings off to investigate. That, in turn, will lead to him meeting back up with Iron Man, getting the Iron Spider suit, and joining the Avengers in a more formal capacity.
