2. Little Gamora!

One of the most surprising images from the trailer was the glimpse of a presumably young Gamora holding the giant hand of her adoptive daddy, Thanos, who walks with her at some sort of palace or homestead.

Again, this flashback probably occurs early on in the movie to help flesh out Thanos as a character, especially as the Russos have stated that he is effectively the protagonist of the film.

How this flashback will inform Thanos' present actions remains to be seen, but you can bet that him being reunited with Gamora in the heat of battle is going to result in intense emotions running all over the place.
