Avengers: Infinity War - What Is Next For EVERY Character

The Snap Deaths

The most stunning category of characters are those who were clicked out of existence in the film's dramatic climax. And though their deaths were affecting, that doesn't necessarily mean their stories are over.

51. Bucky

Fate: Snapped out of existence

The first hero to be snapped away, the newly crowned White Wolf was the keenest loss felt by Captain America, and it definitely feels like he'd a good candidate should it come down to Steve choosing to save one of the victims as a trade for his own life.

And Bucky would be a good replacement for Cap should Marvel want to continue the character's role. He'd certainly be one of the more valuable fighters in a final conflict.

50. Groot

Fate: Snapped out of existence

Groot has now died twice in the MCU, and there's no way he won't be coming back. Marvel would be idiotic to miss out on the chance of a spin-off Rocket and Groot movie.

There's a chance a new Groot could be grown from the wood donated to Thor for Stormbreaker, but who knows if Rocket could put himself through that again.

49. Black Panther

Fate: Snapped out of existence

Since he has a sequel almost resolutely confirmed, Black Panther will make his return in Avengers 4 and if time travel means we'll see the battle of Wakanda replayed, expect him to once more be on the front-line.

If lives are to be traded, either Okoye or M'Baku would make sense as the possible candidates.

48. Falcon

Fate: Snapped out of existence

If any of the characters aren't going to return from the snap, you'd have to suggest that Falcon would be a fairly likely candidate since he's one of the only characters who hasn't really been given the opportunity of his own solo story. And there's no concrete suggestion that they WILL all return.

Should he come back, he could be another candidate to take over as Captain America, but Bucky is definitely the more likely.
