Avengers: Infinity War - Where (And What) Are The Infinity Stones?
6. Space Stone
Contained in the Tesseract, which was being held on Asgard, first under the protection of Heimdall and later in Odin's vault, until Loki saw it in Thor: Ragnarok.
As the name suggests, it allows the user to control space, and can be used to instantly transport the user anywhere in the universe.
In Infinity War:
This is one of the two Infinity Stones that Thanos definitely gets his hands on, as we see it on the Gauntlet in the trailer. Before that moment, though, we see Loki holding out the Tesseract, confirming that he swiped it before the destruction of Asgard in Ragnarok. Loki could be handing the object to Thanos in another evil turn, but judging by his face it seems more likely he's been left with little option, or is using it to make a final stand against the Mad Titan. Either way, Thanos will get this Stone during the movie.
NCTJ-qualified journalist. Most definitely not a racing driver. Drink too much tea; eat too much peanut butter; watch too much TV. Sadly only the latter paying off so far.
A mix of wise-old man in a young man's body with a child-like wonder about him and a great otherworldly sensibility.
