Avengers: Age Of Ultron Ending - 10 Major Repercussions For The MCU

10. HYDRA May Well Be Done...

The thrilling opening action sequence of Age Of Ultron may just be the best part of the film. Which means that it's all downhill from there, but at least they're at the peak of a particularly skyscraping mountain. The Avengers' attack of Baron Von Strucker's Sokovia base is an expertly choreographed bit of mayhem, and from the sounds of it, isn't the first HYDRA base that the team has dispatched. Captain America: The Winter Solider revealed that HYDRA had infiltrated SHIELD at every level, possibly even as far back as the WWII events of the first Cap film. Since then that particular ball has been picked up and ran with by the Agents Of SHIELD TV series, with the team continuing to ferret out HYDRA double-agents. It looks like they might finally be at the end of the line, with Von Strucker working on a skeleton crew and being one of the few big HYDRA leaders left alive (which also doesn't last long). So having shut down operations there, the Avengers might finally have cut the final head off the many-headed terrorist beast; in which case, the MCU may need a bigger fish to fry.
