Batman: 9 Things You Need To Know About Deathstroke

3. His Son Ravager Takes After His Father

Deathstroke DC Rebirth

The original Deathstroke who made his debut in Teen Titans had a son who followed in his father’s footsteps, the aforementioned Grant Wilson, who undergoes a procedure to obtain similar augmentations to his old man.

Grant, who takes on the moniker of Ravager, also embarks on a career in assassination, and when he dies attempting to carry out a hit on the Teen Titans, his father steps in to finish the job and a bitter rivalry is born.

Now, this is where things become confusing because several DC characters have taken on the Ravager name since, four of whom have a connection to Deathstroke.

Bill Walsh, a former rival of Wilson’s who was involved in the kidnapping of his younger son Joseph, later took up the Ravager mantel, but that doesn’t end too well for him.

Slade’s half-brother and one-time adversary Wade DeFarge also assumed the name for a short stint before his defeat saw it pass down to Deathstroke’s illegitimate daughter, Rose Wilson. She has an uneasy relationship with her dad, who brainwashes her into becoming his apprentice, although these underhanded tactics ultimately leave them estranged as she heads off to join the Teen Titans.

The odd Ravager out is a Batman villain with no connection to Deathstroke, who is hired by Two-Face to take out the Dark Knight. Spoiler Alert! He doesn’t succeed.
