Batman: Every Screen Batmobile Ranked From Worst To Best

1. Batman: The Brave And The Bold

The Batmobile

There are multiple criteria for what makes a great batmobile. How useful is it in the narrative, how often is it shown, how versatile is its usage, and of course, design.

The batmobile in Batman: The Brave And The Bold wins out purely through design and usefulness alone. Sure other batmobiles may have better designs and more functional weapons, but can they turn into a jet, submarine, and super fighting robot? Exactly.

Like with Batman's utility belt in this cartoon, there seemed to be no limit to what the batmobile could do, which of course made it all the cooler for its target demographic of young comic book readers.

Like the rest of Brave And The Bold, this batmobile didn't give a rat's ass about how realistic or lack thereof it would be for a car to turn into multiple different kinds of vehicles and giant robots without having the kind of design insanity that would make most engineers froth at the mouth and see the sunken city of R'lyeh where the old gods dream in the depths of their madness. It just did it because it knew what it was and had fun with it.

Which makes it the best kind of batmobile.
