Batman Film Reboot: 11 Things That Must Be Included

3. A Foreboding Gotham City

TDK Trilogy displayed, in my opinion, a solid take on the city of Gotham. It was very modern and realistic. However, it didn€™t really capture, entirely, the dark and dangerous feel the city is known for. Batman Begins did the best job of showcasing the ominous atmosphere of the metropolis. For example, The Narrows was a great addition. It was an example of the many downtrodden neighborhoods and seedy sections Gotham has in the comics. I€™d like to see more of that in the reboot. Also, I€™d like to see a gritty Gotham with an art deco and art nouveau statuary landscape. Like that of the Arkham City videogame displays. A mixture of the Gothic architecture of Tim Burton€™s films and the modernism of Nolan€™s. This, in my opinion, is the best representation of Gotham.
