As of 2015: Though rumors have persisted that the actor has been battling throat cancer, they haven't kept him from rolling along. He continues to work on his ongoing Mark Twain/Mary Baker Eddy project and has a role next year in a musical drama directed by Terrence Malick that features an impressive cast that includes Christian Bale, Michael Fassbender, Ryan Gosling, Cate Blanchett, Rooney Mara, Benicio del Toro and Natalie Portman.
