Pros: Though it has a more silvery tone to it, this wasn't too far away from the Burton design, which is no bad thing. Also, the accompanying Robin costume was easily the best costume in the entire Batman movie franchise.

Cons: It has nipples. Why does it have nipples?

No matter how much good he has done as a film-maker, Joel Schumacher will forever be remembered for the phrase "Bat-nipples" thanks t his production team's decision to fetish the most redundant body part under Batman's glistening body armour. And rightly so, because it's one of the most disgusting decisions in comic book movie history.

Even worse, the nipples actually spoil a pretty nice suit. The more garish Sonar Suit was dropped after Batman Forever (presumably because the prototype was discontinued), and Warner Bros raked in the merchandise dollars by unveiling a new suit entirely for George Clooney's debut. It's just a shame it was ruined by two pointless little mole-hills that would become Schumacher's fatal mountains.
