1. Sam Rockwell
MarvelSam Rockwell may be yet another actor who has already entered the Marvel cinematic canon but his turn as Justin Hammer in the forgettable Iron Man 2 shouldnt discount him from further involvement in super hero films. A method actor as precociously talented as Rockwell deserves a role he can really get his teeth into the neurotic Riddler would most certainly be a fitting part. Rockwell arguably one of the finest actors of this current generation is the rare breed of celibrated actor who is often recognised but cannot be named; more renowned for his skill than his celebrity or star power. The man whose career started out with small parts in Miller beer commercials has certainly come a very long way, delivering truly captivating performances in Moon, Confessions of a Dangerous Mind and Conviction. If Rockwell can be convinced to be a part of Batman Vs. Superman he could be the perfect man to play the antagonist to Ben Afflecks Batman, providing the film with some valuable acting heft. Indeed, the 45-year-old is such a talent that he even has the potential to surpass Ledgers Joker as the greatest comic book supervillain ever portrayed on film.
