1. How Will The Film Set Up The DC Cinematic Universe?
When Marvel slowly teased out its plan for their cinematic universe, people were skeptic over how everything was going to work out. Well, after making billions across a dozen movies, the folks at Warner Bros. are scrambling to create their own rival DC cinematic universe. The thing is, how will they do it and will they do it well? The Marvel universe generally has each film be mostly about its own thing whilst teasing out plot points via references and post-credit scenes that stretch over across multiple films. Based on Man Of Steel and the info released about the future of DC's cinematic universe, it's still a bit unclear if DC can actually rival Marvel's efforts. The first movie wasn't the strongest of films whilst Batman V Superman seems to be falling into the trap of introducing too many important characters far too early. And that's not even tackling the issue of whether there is enough substance for the Justice League movie to be split into two parts or how the Suicide Squad will even fit into this mix. Okay, it's probably too soon to be skeptical. After all, the Thor movies weren't particularly good and Guardians Of The Galaxy seemed like a stupid idea at the time but that worked out just fine. My life story is nothing special. I haven't cured ebola, I'm nowhere near stopping terrorism, and I'm still working on that climate change problem.
Instead, all I've done so far is put a few hundred words together in an attempt to make people laugh.
