Batman V Superman: 10 Characters Scoot McNairy Could Be Playing

4. An Injured Civilian

A new character entirely, imagine that! Coupling the climax of Man Of Steel with Scoot€™s enhanced legs and one logical conclusion suggests that he was injured in some way during Superman's climactic Battle of Metropolis against Zod.

As a result, McNairy€™s character could blame Superman for his injury and lead a public crusade, or thank Superman for saving him from a potentially worse fate. Either way, Scoot's character could tie the sequel back to the first film and provide a clear POV to represent the views of the general population towards the Man of Steel.

Frankly, McNairy could be anyone from a government agent, another reporter, or an employee of either Bruce Wayne or Lex Luthor. However, with so many established characters from the comics, why not just use one of their identities, even in name only, and create something new with their characterization? It€™s not as if McNairy isn€™t talented enough to put a fresh spin on something.
