4. Mercy Graves
Mercy Graves is a character that debut in Superman: The Animated Series back in 1996. She became so popular that she was co-opted into the DC Comics universe and is now transitioning into live-action cinema with Batman V Superman: Dawn Of Justice, with Tao Okamoto (who previously played love interest Mariko Yashida in The Wolverine) taking the role. Mercy is an ass-kicking female bodyguard to Lex Luthor who also serves as his personal assistant. This should throw up loads of chances for Okamoto to steal the show, since shes bound to have lots of interplay with Jesse Eisenbergs psychopathic entrepreneur and a lot of cool fight scenes. This means she should have chances to prove herself as a talented martial artist and a capable verbal sparring partner. If Okamoto can pull off kick-ass and funny at the same time, shes bound to become a fan favourite. She doesnt have any superpowers either, which will make her an underdog if she ends up battle Superman and/or Batman. And who doesnt love an underdog? Surely, with all that in mind, Mercy will be a character that everyone starts talking about after the movie
