6. The Murder Of The Waynes

The Scene: A flashback to the murder of Bruce Wayne's parents, Thomas and Martha, presumably at the hands of Joe Chill as young Bruce looks on. Why It Should Be Awesome: Zack Snyder gets to have his own stab at the iconic murder scene, and casting Jeffrey Dean Morgan and Lauren Cohan as the Waynes should make them the most memorable screen iteration of the couple. Plus, the few clips we've seen from trailers look visually stunning. What Could Go Wrong: Again, it could just feel unnecessary or disconnected from the whole. Plus, we've seen this moment play out so much in Batman movies that it could feel arbitrary and thrown in for the sake of it. If Snyder doesn't place his own signature on it, then it'll probably be pretty pointless.
