7. Kryptonite, Obviously
Anyone whos read the relevant literature will know that youre best chance of taking down Superman is getting your hands on this power-sapping mineral. It isnt the most creative plot device, but every hero has to have an Achilles heel - even Achilles himself. Batman has harnessed the power of Kryptonite to floor his sometime rival on several occasions in comics, perhaps most famously in Frank Millers seminal Dark Knight Returns when an aged Caped Crusader had Oliver Queen strike Superman with an arrow fashioned from the green rock. In 2002s Batman: Hush, Mister Wayne brings the smackdown to a Poison Ivy-controlled Man Of Steel by donning a Kryptonite ring and serving him with his finest right hook.
