Another glimpse at the apocalyptic Knightmare Batman sequence yields something strange and new: the sight of winged soldiers beating down and picking up prone enemies and flying off with them. They're clearly humanoid, but have mutated, and the closest thing they resemble from comics lore are the Parademons - the henchmen of Darkseid - albeit without the more garish costumes...

No matter what, they're an odd thing to drop in out of nowhere, even in what is assumed to be a dream sequence.
