This version of Superman is pretty theatrical. Removing the mask is one thing, but posing with this angry face, as if to show off his distain for Bruce and humiliate him further is another thing entirely. The shot also offers a nice indication that Superman's suit has been coloured in post-production to preserve some of its vibrancy even in this dusty environment and despite the browned out palette.
