8. Classic Geography

Picking up familiar buildings and locations in the backgrounds of scenes is something Easter egg hunters love to do. Most recently, it was done with the Avengers Tower in the likes of Captain America: The Winter Soldier and in Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. The Oscorp building from the Spider-Man comics was very nearly included in the Avengers movie too but, due to complications, it never happened. Batman Vs Superman should include locations and buildings from DC comics in the background of its scenes. Things like Crime Alley, Arkham Asylum, the Iceberg Lounge, the Suicide Slum, the Ace o' Clubs and Metropolis University should be sneaked in for novelty purposes, just to give fans something to look out for, but also to hint at future characters and storylines.
