For all the jokes, cartoon skits and stupid 'Family Guy' jokes, Aquaman is a serious player in the DC Universe. The King of Atlantis, the man is comic book - and in-Universe - royalty. Recent years have seen him turn a little more serious and aloof, and, as people continued to laugh, more of a force to be reckoned with. And what better way to show that than by having him trade blows with the biggest and strongest there is? Okay, so they can tend to overdo things a little. But in a world full of Gods (and DC refers to them as such many times) King Arthur Curry fits right in. Cyborg though, does not. He may have managed to get himself on a team with the big boys, but he still feels very much like the odd one out.
