7. Chloe Sullivan
Given that the Smallville TV series is no more, it would be a nice little nod to the show to include a character who was created for and exclusive to it - and now that Henry Cavill's Clark Kent is working at the Daily Planet, it would be very easy to introduce Chloe Sullivan as a fellow reporter for the newspaper. Having Allison Mack, who portrayed Sullivan on TV, return to play the role would be very cool, though not essential, as just having any character with her name would be something interesting for fans of the show to spot. Most importantly, Sullivan was independent, intelligent, curious and impulsive and is therefore a very interesting character and, if she wasn't merely appearing in a cameo role, she could even be introduced as a professional rival to Lois Lane and a potential love interest for Jimmy Olsen. And if you aren't familiar with Smallville and think this was a very boring entry, I promise that the rest are much more exciting...
