Batman Vs. Two-Face Review: 7 Ups & 5 Downs

1. The Terrible 3D Animation

Though for the most part Batman vs. Two-Face is a well-animated film that cleverly homages the 1960s Batman series, it does occasionally hurl in some rather unpleasant 3D animation, typically when the Caped Crusader is riding the Batmobile or another vehicle.

It clashes horribly with the traditional 2D animation of the rest of the movie, and makes the film momentarily look incredibly cheap. It also doesn't hurt that almost all of the movie's text looks like the animators just picked the first generic font they could find, like it was a placeholder that everyone forgot to change before rendering.

Thankfully these ugly moments are pretty few and far-between, but they're totally gross when they do show up.

At least this is one of the more consistent Batman animated films in recent memory, so here's everything it gets right...
