BATTLE: LOS ANGELES!

One Marine's fight against an alien invasion!

Columbia Pictures have preemptively picked up a sci-fi script from Chris Bertolini (The General's Daughter) which revolves around one Marine platoon's fight against an alien invasion on the streets of Los Angeles. Titled Battle: Los Angeles the film begins production within in six months and will be produced by Neal Mortiz on a "modest budget" says The Hollywood Reporter. And that's all we have. I guess they must be sick of making movies about the destruction of New York. Though you will remember when John Carpenter changed his New York setting to L.A, the result wasn't fantastic. Not that this movie has anything to do with this movie but I needed an image, and this was the only one I could think of...
