Battlestar Galatica writer working on I, Robot 2?

i_robot_ver3.jpgAre we set for a sequel to I, Robot? Battlestar Galatica scribe Ronald D. Moore who also co-wrote the scripts for the two Star trek movies Generations and First Contact has revealed that he has wrote a draft for I, Robot 2. In a video interview with Collider which you can see by clicking here, he said the following... - He says he has just finished a draft for a sequel to I, Robot. - He says he is sworn to secrecy about it. - He expects it to be a big budget movie. - And unrelated to I, Robot, he says he is still developing The Thing prequel, which we first told you about way back in November. Wow, this news just brings with it more questions than answers... Is Will Smith coming back? Is Alex Proyas directing again? Are those robots that were locked up and "never to be seen again", going to come back to life? I, Robot was great fun. If Proyas & Smith return then I'm all for it... why not? I don't think Will Smith has ever looked more comfortable in a movie than he did in this. Without them though, this project shouldn't happen nor should it even be contemplated. source - coming soon
