A significant number of the film's references, Easter Eggs and in-jokes come in the excellent, trippy "Be Our Guest" sequence, and it seems there may be a nod to The Little Mermaid in there too.

When Lumiere sings "Go on, unfold your menu", we get a brief glimpse at the menu, and a close look reveals that the entree is Les Poissons. Obviously that means "cooked fish" in French, but it was also the title of the song sang by the manic Chef Maurice in The Little Mermaid.
