Because You Asked For It... Craig Mazin Back Writing THE HANGOVER PART 3

Well that didn't take long did it? A crushing reminder of what the film industry actually is comes in from The Wrap tonight where it's reported that The Hangover Part II screenwriter Craig Mazan has already found a large paycheck land at his door to begin work on writing a second sequel. With Hollywood shutting down over memorial day weekend where The Hangover Part II made an inexplicable $135 million domestic and $205 million worldwide, breaking new ground for an R-Rated comedy, fat cat Warner Bros execs were only just getting back to work today but wasted no time at all in getting that offer out to Mazan. So once again it'll be paycheck city for director Todd Phillips and actors Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms, Zach Galifianakis and Justin Bartha and in all likelihood we can expect THE EXACT SAME MOVIE as we've seen twice now but with slight modifications and set in a different city. Amsterdam is being spoken about. It'll be the easiest money any of the above names will ever make. Actress Jamie Chung who played the new bride of Ed Helms' character told THR last week (via The Playlist);
€œIf you think of the coolest, craziest cities in the world, it would have to be Las Vegas, Bangkok and Amsterdam.€
Justin Bartha added;
€œAmsterdam could be a different kind of hangover... It could be fun. And Zach will probably already be there.€
Though I'm sure I heard the U.K. name-dropped in The Hangover Part II itself a few times. Personally I found The Hangover Part II to be a boring cut-and-paste duplicate of the original - not at all funny, badly acted and all in all - kinda desperate. No movie with that much male gentilia could be anything else.
