Meet the Parents works as opposed to most other Ben Stiller movies that don't, is that "Parents" put the actor in a sympathetic situation where we can easily root for our hero. We know what it's like to meet the parents of your loved one for the first time and that nervous anticipation and general anxiousness you feel once your there is perfectly conveyed in that quite funny comedy flick. In Deep which it's been announced he is attached too. Stiller is good at playing an ordinary guy who by no fault of his own ends up in a fucked up situation where he can't actually believe what's happening to him. From
