20 Best Horror Movie Final Girls of the 2020s (So Far)

In the first Influencer, we're initially led to believe that influencer Madison (Emily Tennant) is nothing more than another vapid social media personality, and certainly not someone who could outwit a calculating serial killer like her new "pal" CW (Cassandra Naud).

Though Madison initially falls hook, line, and sinker for CW's elaborate scam, where she's abandoned to die on an island, at the end of the movie Madison is revealed to have inexplicably survived, proving herself far more adept a survivor than anyone could've expected.

She then turns the tables on CW, attacking her, stealing her boat, and leaving CW stranded on the very same island.

And Madison becomes an even more laudable Final Girl in the recent sequel Influencers, where she chases down CW once again, attacks her, discover her hideout, and reveals her murderous ways to the entire world.

That's quite a turnaround for a character who seemed entirely lacking in self-preservation instinct when we met her at the start of the first movie. 

Fingers crossed she becomes even more of a badass in the threequel that absolutely needs to happen.
