I thought the first movie had a really terrific concept and one they couldn't possibly mess up, but somehow they did. How did NIGHT AT THE MUSEUM turn into a frikkin' 3 day event? And what was with that third act folks? They went for that easy way out of the screenplay when they had dug themselves into a hole that they couldn't think of a logical way to get out of. If you have seen the film then you will know exactly what I'm talking about. Let's pray the screenwriters have realised what didn't work in the first one and tweak the movie so it's a little more tolerable for adults because it's not beyond the realms of possibility that we could be entertained by this too.
