17. The Eyeball - They Will Kill You
The marketing for They Will Kill You really should've done a better job of showcasing how unapologetically ridiculous this supernatural horror-comedy is.
Zazie Beetz stars as Asia, an ex-con who gets a job as a maid at a luxury high-rise building, where her sister is being held by a satanic cult.
The early twist, however, is that the murderous members of said cult have been granted immortality through their fealty, and so any time Asia kills one of them, they're brought back to life, no matter how horribly mutilated they might be.
The resurrection process does have some hilarious quirks, though, such as when Sharon (Heather Graham) has her skull destroyed by Asia, only for her eyeball to become sentient and start rolling around a ventilation shaft in pursuit of her.
In an especially Sam Raimi-inspired moment, the eye even uses its optic nerve to fling itself up one of the shafts, before Asia gets a hold of it and squeezes the thing until it bursts. Lovely.
