Birds Of Prey: 10 Major New Details Revealed During The Press Tour

We've yet to see a superhero movie with an authentic, gay relationship but rumours have been swirling for a while now that villains Black Mask and Victor Zsasz will be romantically involved in Birds of Prey. Well, when Ewan McGregor and Chris Messina were asked about that during a recent red carpet interview with Variety, their response was an interesting one to say the least.

"It's very complicated," McGregor said somewhat hesitantly. "Their relationship is very much based in...there's a 'want' and a 'need' in there, for sure." Messina noted that there's "a real love of anarchy" between their characters and as both actors struggled to find the right words, McGregor blurted out, "Most likely, yes!" with a laugh.

Reading between the lines here, it seems that Black Mask and Zsasz are more than likely gay but it's likely something which will only be alluded to rather than addressed in any sort of significant or meaningful way.
