And finally, we have the mid-credits scene that Dwayne Johnson freely spoiled ahead of time, presumably in the hope of boosting the movie's box office prospects.

The scene sees Adam on Kahndaq, where he receives a holographic message from Amanda Waller, warning him to never leave the country or risk the wrath of other metahumans.

Adam implores her to bring them on, and at that point, Superman (Henry Cavill) arrives on the scene in his classic red-and-blue costume, before telling Adam, "We should talk."

As crowd-pleasing as the scene is, it's also hilariously clear that it was thrown together late in production - as recently as a month ago, apparently - due to Cavill and Johnson never physically sharing the screen.

Plus, Cavill appears only amid a plume of smoke, making it clear he filmed the cameo against a green screen.

Even if you knew it was coming, though, it was still totally mind-blowing to both see Cavill back in the Superman role again, and in a damn Black Adam movie no less. Hopefully we end up seeing this tease paid off in a future movie, but as ever, nothing is certain.
